Launching Bloomflow's first generative AI feature.
LinkedIn video ad · AI Scout launch
The brief
Bloomflow was about to ship AI Scout, the first generative AI feature inside the platform and a first of its kind for innovation management. The ask was a LinkedIn video ad to bring it to market and speak to innovation scouts and managers who spend hours digging through startups, blogs and databases.
I wrote the brief myself, from the positioning and target audience down to the specs, timing and creative considerations.
My role
I ran this end to end.
- Wrote the brief, key message, audience, tone, references and specs.
- Wrote the script through several rounds, from a pain-focused hook to the final voice-over structure.
- Built the storyboard and picked visual references, product-first, motion driven, clean supers instead of raw screenshots.
- Directed production, music, pacing, motion design and the closing brand moment.
The message
Manual scouting is a maze. Endless sources, marketing jargon, cross-referencing with an existing database. AI Scout turns that into a self-serve moment inside Bloomflow: ask a question, get results in real time, verify with credible sources, add to a portfolio in one click.
The final line landed on a simple promise, self-serve scouting, right inside the platform.
Look and feel
Product-first, with clean supers and abstract visuals over raw UI screenshots. Upbeat music with a sense of urgency and momentum. The visual language borrowed from the AI feature launches we all remembered, Notion AI, FigJam AI, Perplexity, but pulled through the Bloomflow rebrand.
